Product Description

The E-04.8 is a whip-type antenna for aircraft emergency locator transmitters (ELT). This external-mounted antenna radiates distress signals on 406 MHz and 121.5/243 MHz frequencies during emergency activation. The antenna connects to the ELT via coaxial cable and must be installed per both the ELT manufacturer specifications and aircraft maintenance manual to comply with FAA TSO-C126 and TSO-C91a standards.

Proper mounting ensures reliable emergency signal transmission and compliance with airworthiness requirements.

Please note: Product descriptions are provided for informational purposes. Always refer to your aircraft's Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) to verify part compatibility and specifications.
